I was literally just talking about BattleTech. I also play a lot of console games so that works for me.Ĭlick to expand. It's like reading a mirror, haha. My gaming PC is connected to the OLED TV and I have a lounge chair in front of that, and that is where I do most of my PC gaming. I don't really like to game at my desk because it's where I work 10 hours a day, so by 6pm my desk chair is the last place I want to be. I have a 55-inch LG OLED TV that does 120Hz in my office too. So I just haven't felt a need to compromise the image quality of my 4K desktop monitors to go high refresh rate, since I have the TV for that for most games. But with those, refresh rate doesn't matter as much. In terms of games I enjoy, the only major exceptions are 4X games, which are not easy to play with a controller. So if I can play a game on the TV instead, I will. I just can't stand to look at LCDs and their raised blacks anymore. But unfortunately, those are only just starting to become a thing. When they make 4K, HDR (at least 600 cd/m2 brightness), OLED 27-inch 120Hz+ computer monitors that can match the quality of LG's TVs I'll buy them immediately. I'm really looking forward to better OLED monitors coming around. HDR on computer monitors is particularly terrible. The other aspect to that is that the unfortunate reality right now is that the picture quality on high-refresh rate monitors is absolute garbage compared to what you can get on TVs.
